Utah is a place full of natural hazards. Whether it is a flood, winter storm, landslide, or our inevitable huge earthquake, it pays to be aware of natural hazards in your area and how to prepare for them.
Your Assignment: You will use the resources at Be Ready Utah Links to an external site., a site published by the state. You will choose 4 hazards from the list. For each hazard you need to:
- Summarize what the hazard is and where and when it's most likely to occur.
- Create a plan on what to do during the event.
